Re: Lake George?
WE stayed with a large group at Country Cottages and Motel. It was not on the Lake, but still very close. Very clean and worth the price. Playground, pool, central air, picnic pavillion, different sized cottages and rooms. It was perfect for us.

Re: Lake George?
I'm going up to the area for some winter fun. We are staying at Ryding-Hy Ranch. Looks like fun and it did come recommended by a friend. I think the rates are very reasonable.

Re: Lake George?
We went last summer and rented a cottage at Takundewide. It was very nice. We split a cottage with my parents so it was a little tight for 4 adults and 1 child but it came with everything, dishes, linens, cooking supplies, etc. Our cabin was very clean!! Also we brought up two AC's to put in the windows in case the heat was unbearable. My SIL's family has been going to this place for over 20+ years and they love it. If you own a boat you can rent a slip and dock it there. Its not too far away from the village.
