We are planning a trip to Disney this July. I've already been there a number of times and have always stayed at Carribean Beach. This is the first time we will be going with a 4 year old and 10 month old.
Has anyone stayed at All Star Movies and Music? If you have, how were they? How far are they from Magic Kingdom?

They are quite far from MK. Buses run very frequently (since they are some of the most popular hotels), however, if you are leaving the parks at closing, you may have a very long wait.

we stayed at ASM with my 3 yr old and 1.5 yr old and stayed at the toy story building...they LOVED it! they thought they were at a park right outside their windows....they are toy story obsessed!!
Honestly we took a bus everywhere...and once your on...you really dont see a diff in time...yes it was a little longer to MK...but wasnt as long to AK or DHS...so it if you are doing all the parks...what diff does it matter your time on the bus to MK....KWIM!?!?!?

This is how i felt! We had a great stay there....the kids LOVED it. rooms are a bit small but did the job.
And the buses are great..we never waited long and the ride is super fast to the parks. I would go back again!

my parents stayed at the music last week. while they found the buses ok (they did wait a long time for the bus to magic kingdom), they said the rooms were very small and the hotel itself felt very cheap.
