I don't want any new boards but I'd love to reorganize the ones that are here.
Crafts renamed to Crafts, Hobbies & Interests to include things like photography and geocaching.
Food & Recipes renamed Dining In or Out so it's clear that it's for recipes and restaurants
Coupons to Finance, Budget & Savings
Combine storyboard & entertainment for movies, TV & books but keep gossip & celebrity stuff seperate.
Combine Teachers & Careers.
Maybe add a Local board for happenings in and around Long Island & NYC.
I'd also move pets up to the FHF boards and Home down to the NFR boards.
I think these are great ideas!! I really really agree with moving pets up to Family Chat

I see the Photography board requested a lot, an idea I originally really liked, but the only threads I really see are "Which DSLR should I get?"
No one really shares photographs and techniques as an art form, it's more like snapshots of people, children or pets.
Would people really post more about the actual aspects of photography in a subforum, even though we don't really discuss it now?

That's exactly why I would like one! I've only just gotten a nice DSLR for Christmas and I want to start taking classes for it. I want to be able to operate outside the automatic settings and know which lens to use and what aperture means and the effect it has on your photo!

This is a great book to start out with. It explains light, aperture, etc. with pictures to illustrate the points he makes.
I know it sounds silly, but you should read the manual too because most people don't!

I do love Christine's idea about restructuring the current ones though, especially renaming the Food board Dining In and Out because right now it is not at all clear that we are talking about restaurants as well as cooking.

Yes but I was told that was a stupid idea . So, by LIF rules, I am required to internalize that and believe that, in fact, the poster called ME stupid. Because I *stole* the idea from colette, that means she thinks colette is stupid too. And everyone knows that's not colette's real name so it must mean that the poster who called my idea stupid is trying to "out" colette.
I vote for a real Drama board. 
This is the 3rd dumbest idea I've ever seen on these boards.

I agree with combining some.
But i would love for celeb gossip to be desperate from all other entertainment. Agree w/that idea.
and buy/sell/trade as a separate board.

I agree with this, Pets are part of the Family and therefore Family Related. What would make it even easier to navigate is to get rid of the NFR and FR sections and just merge both and alphabetize them so it's easier to find stuff. Just my take.
