Those with children that are around 24 pounds- diaper question
DD is 17 mos, 24 pounds about 31-32 inches. Currently in size 5 luvs. All of a sudden leaking and spilling over the top. Not sure if it is a size or cut issue. What size and brand is your DC in?

Re: Those with children that are at least 24 pounds- diaper question
Tyler who is 14 months and 28lbs is in Six 6. Doesn't matter the brand. I buy Target, Luvs, and Huggies Overnights. All are six 6's.

DS was in luvs until he outgrew them and needed a size 7.
We never had leak issues.

DS is 10m, 23 lbs, 33", he's in 4's for daytime, 5's overnight.
We use target during the day and huggies overnights.

Re: Those with children that are around 24 pounds- diaper question
DS is 2 and 24 lbs. He was wearing a size 4 luvs but I just switched to a size 5 because I felt like they were getting a little tight. I never had any leak problems with Luvs.

My DD is 24 pounds exactly and she wears size 4 Huggies. My son used them too. We never had a leakage problem with them.

DD wears Pampers Cruisers size 5. No issues. I tried Huggies once, no way - cut way too narrow for her!

Re: Those with children that are around 24 pounds- diaper question
Thought I'd share on the slight chance it might be helpful...
DS has always been tall so we went through diapers somewhat fast (or so it seemed to me).
You can find diapers in size 6 and 7. I used to get them at BRU, Target and I believe at BJs
Once he moved out of the size 7 we moved to pullups because we had no choice...he wasn't potty training but we needed a diaper so that worked. They make overnight pullups as well...Huggies has been my preferred brand for that.
I particularly like Huggies GoodNights...they are fantastic!

Re: Those with children that are around 24 pounds- diaper question
Bri - tommy is the exact same size as your DD. We use Luvs too but the size 4s fit him better bc he has a narrow waist. They just changed Luvs (are you using the new ones with the monkeys on them yet?) We just started using the new ones and no problems yet but maybe it has to do with that?
Eta we use either huggies or fisher price overnights but one size up in 5s.

Re: Those with children that are around 24 pounds- diaper question
DD is 25 lbs and 33 inches (she is 19.5 months) and is in size 4 cruisers (pampers) they are big on her and we have no issues with them. I don't see her going up a size anytime soon.

This is great info, I was wondering what happens when my little giant turns 2 and doesn't fit into a diaper.
