I am using honey and vicks but he is still waking up with coughing fits in the middle of the night. The poor guy. What are you doing to help your child with their nagging coughs?

Re: What are you giving your toddler for a cough?
Do you use the vicks vapor plug? That always helped. And steamy showers to help them bring it up. Other than that, there's really nothing else you can do And honestly, even Ava has a nasty cough, is on antibiotics and a cough suppressant/expectorant and she still has a nasty cough allllll night long. Whatever this upper respiratory thing is going around is really nasty I hope he feels better soon!

Thanks everyone! I do use the Vicks Vapor plug too. It's only at night and I think it's because it's post nasal and that is why it's only coughing while he's sleeping.
I hope everyone's little ones start feeling better.

I usually load him up with saline drops. It helps break up the post-nasal drip faster and keeps everything moving. Can you sleep him on an incline? We also do that. Hope he feels better soon
