I can't believe its been down since last night at 10:00. Anyone hear anything?

Yeah, I've been checking their site all day and am amazed that they are still suspended.
How do city cops and firemen get to work now? That is who I feel for. Me, I'm loving the day off to snuggle on the couch with the new laptop and my new Nook color.

I have been following all day too. This morning they said they would be running by 4pm and now still suspended. I'm leery bc theybsay they are working around the clock to fix issues including frozen switches. Isnt it colder at night? Won't they refreeze. I dont believe anything they say except when they say fares going up. That is the one thing they are consistent with.

I hear ya. I take the 5:40 home and it is always first one cancelled no matter what the issue is. To me, they owe me money. Tempted to write newsday

Lola. Did you used to take the 7:40 am train in that is now the 7:48? Not sure why they did that. Now we crawl bc of passing trains. It's 10 min later but I get in over 25 min later!  That annoys the crap out of me! That and having the conductor that sounds like Rosie o'donnell telling me twenty times to watch the gap and we arebarriving on so and so track. Who cares! Ugh. Ok. I'm a bit bitter. Lols.

i work for a city agency and have NO way to get in to work if the LIRR is still down yet the mayor expects me to be at work. sorry...still p!ssed off about this! now i have to use a second personal day tomorrow.

Thanks. Looks like DH is back to work tomorrow. Part of me is disappointed, but part of me is excited to have the house to myself as planned, since I'm off this week.

All it takes is that 508 train to get stuck and thats it.

DH is going in. Im off but I have no desire to get in the car and take the kids to day care. Yes, I had planned to bring them in because I had to pay for it and because I needed to catch up on 2 years of sleep deprivation. Judge away!
