Plus there is a Wicks Path in Commack, as well as a Wicks Drive also in Commack (off of Wicks Road).
I *think* (and I could be really wrong about this) that the area used to all be farmland owned by the Wicks family.
That is all correct. I grew up on Wicks Path and our mail used to get sent to Wicks Road and Wicks Drive instead.
I am pretty sure the home the poster is referring to is the Commack Wicks Road not Brentwood. I have seen the posting for the home on MLS. It is a two lane divided road and yes, I would consider it a busy road, though nothing like a Hempstead Turnpike or a Jericho Turnpike.
And the Wicks family owned the land that is now Hoyt Farm, before the Hoyt family. I had to research my street name for school back in like 4th grade.

Yes the home is 100% Commack NOT Brentwood. Just what I was curious about was the business of the road as I am not familar.
