Snowboots to daycare?
So on days like this, do you send you DC to daycare in snowboots or just sneakers. I had Ryan in sneakers but of course he ran through the snow before getting in the car this morning and I felt bad his feet were all wet. But I can't imagine him playing and napping comfortably if I sent him to daycare in boots.
Stupid question, I know

You can but I'd send in a pair of sneakers for him to change into at daycare.

Not today only b/c of the temps I know they wont bring the kids outside.. but on an snowy day were they will be outside.. I would bring snowboots and have the wear the sneakers or reverse.. but snow boots would only be used to go outside in..they would have to change him afterwards.

I don't bother with Colin b/c I still carry him in. Ryan obviously walks.

I send DS in boots today and brought sneakers. Who knows what he will be in when he gets picked up. I didn't realize we didn't get that much snow and when I showed DS his boots he went crazy.

For the winter I keep a pair of sneakers at school for Teddy. I would say do the same. Keep his feet dry, and him comfortable.

Every time Elizabeth goes in with snowboots or rain boots I pack another pair of shoes for her to change into.
Not that there was any need for snowboots this morning in Brooklyn. Elizabeth was disappointed.

My problem is if I leave a change of shoes, Ryan will rarely come home in snowboots. DH does pick up and gets them home safe, but rarely remembers to bring home what they went with 
I have since invested in the $1 hats at Target - I bought like 10 since almost always someone comes home without one and they seem to get lost like socks in my house

Not a stupid question, I thought about this this morning.
I put her in sneakers, cause it hasn't really piled up yet but I will when it snows more...they go outside most days.

If it's warm enough, they still go outside, so I would ask if they do this at your daycare. If they do, he'll definitely need boots.

DH also does the pick up over here... I usually change her shoes and I'll put the boots in the bag that DH knows to bring home every day. He does leave their stuff behind if it's not packed up for him.

When my DS goes to preschool I send him in his boots and send his sneakers for them to put on when he gets in the classroom.
