Those Who Sold Their Houses Recently
Can you tell me (FM me if you don't want to post it) what percentage in commission did you paid your REA? Were you able to negotiate the rate? And, how long was the term of your contract before you were able to terminate it?
Were you pleased with the agency/agent you chose? If so, can you tell me who you worked with?
Oh, I am in Bellmore, if that helps!
Thanks!!!!!!

Re: Those Who Sold Their Houses Recently
I LOVE my agent. She was recommended to me by a girl on here. I tried to sell on my own but it was taking too long. she sold within a month, did open houses till it sold! she is so nice and easy to work with!! I think the comm was 4. 5? I did 3 months bc if we didnt' sell w/in 3 months we were going to rent it out. I sent you FM!

Re: Those Who Sold Their Houses Recently
Our commission rate was 3.5% if sold exclusively through listing real estate agency.
4% if sold through MLS.
6 mth contract (or 9 I forget).

That's not bad at all! I had one REA quote me 6%. He was full of himself, too, so I really didn't like his attitude, lol!
