Vision Plan Question - BTDT Moms, come on in!

Sorry, I am total question girl today!!

I will be having Nugget in March. Both DH and I have really bad eyesight, which started in early Elementary for both of us. Our parents have bad eyesight too...poor is destined to have glasses when he is older. The question is, do I add him onto my vision plan when he is born? Or do I wait until he is a little older? I am thinking err on the side of caution and have him on the plan just in case...you never know what will happen and you don't want to mess with vision. What do you think/what did you do?

If its going to cost you extra money, I wouldn't add the baby now. I'd wait until he/she is at least a year old. You don't really ever see a kid under a year with glasses.
