Being that twins run in my family- both my parents are twins, aunts are twins, great-uncles are twins... I kinda wanted twins. Well, after having DD I began to think if I had twins I would have needed to be medicated  One little person was alot of work. How could I have done two???

I'm def all about it. My SIL keeps teasing me that I'm going to end up w/twin girls and I keep fanning horror but I secretly hope she has some sixth sense!!!!

I'm a twin but identical which aren't genetic like fraternal twins are.
I don't think I would want twins though. I'm terrified about having kids and 2 at a time makes me want to pass out. Although I do sometimes hear twins are easier b/c they keep each other company.

i used to think that i absolutely didn't want twins. Now I actually wouldn't mind and think it would be cute. However, the financial aspect of having 2 at once is a little scary but I am sure we would manage.

Twins run in my family so I am slightly scared. Wouldn't be upset if i had them..just think would be stressful and hope I would be able to handle them!
My grandfather was a twin...and his brother's daughter had fraternal twins..and his brorhter's son almost had twins (they had a vanishing twin)...
Since I am on that same family line (my mom would have been the equivalent and she hasn't had twins)...I am scared we are overdue haha

At this point I would be terrified since we already have 2 kids. I always thought twins would be fun. My grandfather was a twin and DH has twin siblings. So right now a wee bit scary for me.

Hmm I dunno - I would certainly welcome the idea but I heard the 1st year with twins and is HARD and EXPENSIVE!
On a side note - my DH wants twins and hopes it just happens somehow, I am like GEEZ babe! I already told him if it does happen for some crazy reason...that my mom is going to have to move in for several months, lol!

thats why i am terrified of having twins. dh loves the idea because he wants to "get it over with"
with the pcos, all the meds i will take increases the chances of having twins so we talk about this a lot

well considering i have twin sisters 3 sets of cousins who r twins and i set of triplets..plus these meds up my chancesof twins...we r def getting ready for it if it happened..and we would love it!!!! we r having so much trouble having one two would be a freakin miracle!!!!!!

Part of it terrifies me, part of it excites me. I've had several people tell me that they think I'll have twins, even though it doesn't run in our families. We'll see.

DH has two sets of cousins that are twins. 3 of his cousins have twins. His aunts are twins and one of his grandmothers was a twin.

The thought excites and terrifies me
My grandfather was a twin, my moms cousins are twins and my cousins are twins. All fraternal male which is genetic.
My cousins are all older and none have had twins 
Just my brother and I are left so we shall see...

coming from someone who has twin nephews, its a LOT of work! when they were first born the family was at my brothers house every day helping. between feeding and trying to help them keep the house clean etc. they also had a 2yr old daughter at their time of birth.
the concept is cool....i would love it when they are older but i wouldnt look forward to all teh work and money that would go into it

If I was TTC and in the dark about how hard babies can be (at least my babies) I'd be all for it. Right now though I have 2 kids so to add twins to that would be a challenge. Of course we would take what we are blessed with but I really don't see any reason we would have twins. I think it would be a real fluke.

i would rather not because i know we will have to financially find a way for me to stay home a lot longer, it would make the immediate expense of day care harder to manage, and in general it's a lot more stressful to take care of 2 babies as opposed to one.
i'm on clomid now so i've accepted the possibility. i'm really hoping for one at a time.
