Eh. Friday night, and you only wrote the post at 11:45. I would have waited a little. It's a holiday weekend. Would you have thought different if it was a house full of adults?
11:45 is well past the noise ordinance in my town.
And yes, if it was adults I would have called too.
A house full of (more than likely) drunk teenagers is a recipe for disaster. And, for what its worth, I was NEVER at a house party when I was a teenager that the cops were NOT called to break up. I think that kids kind of "expect" the cops to show up.

i wouldve done exactly the same thing. if it was people you were friendly with, i would first go over and say something nicely. but people you dont know, i would just call the cops. theyre most likely only going to get a warning anyway, but the message will get through.
ps- your dh is good! i dont know if mine would drive around looking for a noisy party for me! lol

If it was the first time it happened, I wouldn't have called the cops. If it was a recurring problem with the same house, I would probably call.
