we got one for Em at a Thrift Store and she LOVES it. we got it for her a long time ago (like 4 or 5 months ago and kept it in the basement). She started sitting on the floor & spinning, so we took it out - didn't show her how to use it - she sat down on the thing and it was like she'd been using it for YEARS.
The THOROUGHLY enjoys it - even says WEEeeeeee. She's been using it actively since she was 16 months.
As an alternate use - it's also a great place to put a doll (on the top part) and press the music button. Em made it her little 'stage'. She'll put her musical stuff on there, press the thing to make it sing & dance and she'll dance near it.

No, but I want to get one for us. I loved that damn thing when I was little. I'd probably get my fatasss stuck.

We have one, she never uses it. It just takes up space pretty boring IMO not like the ones they had when we were younger.

Bought the sit and spin for my dc when they were about 2years old. They are now 8 and 6 and still love this toy!

DS is 2 and DD is 4 and they both love it. DS got the idea of how to spin on it right around when he turned 2 or so
