Thank you response time question
If you send someone (particularly a family member) a bouquet of flowers for their birthday whats the amount of time you feel is appropriate for them to call and say thank you? Or do you feel a thank you isn't necessary ?
TIA girls !

That day?
As I type this I'm racking my brain wondering if I forgot to thank someone for that kind of thing because I can easily see it slipping my mind.

For a bouquet of flowers on my birthday? Definitely a call/text/smoke signal/passenger pigeon that day!

Re: Thank you response time question
Thanks girls..I just wanted to make sure I wasn't asking too much...My SIL ...I don't know what her problem is..my birthday was last week...my brother called me and all she did was yell in the background happy birthday...which i was very taken aback by...we're not that close but really you can't call me yourself or mail a card? So now her brithday was this past thurs. and I was being the better person..I left a voicemail happy birthday and sent her flowers..its now Saturday night and I haven't heard a peep...I"m really starting to feel very hurt and upset by this ....at least I know I tried and no one can say I didn't but I'd really like to know what her problem is ...I really didn't want to have to have a conversation like this with her right before the holidays, but I guess I have to and hope that everything turns out ok

Re: Thank you response time question
I think they should definitely either call or send a thank you note within a few days of receiving them. Anytime I receive anything like that I usually call the next day so they know I received it.
