furniture under wall mounted tv?

I am looking for something to put under the new tv...to hold the cable boxes, etc. It needs closed and open/glassed in storage and I want it high enough that I can put picture frames on top. Any pics, girls? I have looked online for days...can't find what Im looking for in my mind!

Our TV is mounted on the wall and we just kept our original tv stand type cabinet that we originally had the TV on.

We got ours from Furnakit. They have a ton to choose from but ours is similar to this one: Furnakit

I wanted something that was going to hide everything. I didn't want any glass or anything like that. It's worked out well for us. Our box and receiver both work without us even having to open the doors.

We got it from Home Decorators Outlet. They have a lot of different options there.

I would get some sort of credenza or buffet type of table to put there or a large console table with cabinets..

We have a console from Thomasville from the Fredrickburg collection. It's more of a mahogany color in person. My kids beat the cr*p out of this thing ever day and it still looks brand new 4 yrs later.
