Anyone been to Mohegan Sun???

I'm looking for something fun to do for my 30th birthday. Just wondering if its worth going to the spa and how the nightlife is.

Any other other recommendation would be great. We want to go somewhere overnight and within 5-6 hours from NY.

I've only been to Foxwoods and it's nice. Mohegan Sun is supposed to be better. I definitely think it's worth the trip!

I wasn't too impressed with the Mohegun Sun spa. It's ok but not great.

I love it!! The restaurants are all great-even the quick service is YUM.

I don't like Foxwoods, so I can't comment there.
Mohegan doesn't really have nightlife.

Go to Atlantic City instead - the Borgata. It's got great restaurants, bars and night life, plus the spa is great.
If you can, try to get rooms at the Water Club. it's the newer part of Borgata.

i went to foxwoods and stayed at the mgm grand for work and it was fun! you can get to the foxwoods casinos without leaving the building from there and there's a great asian restaurant/bar that was fun! they seem to have a bunch of good shows and concerts and stuff there too you can check out

The Nightlife is fun! That have this really cool Martini bar with a planetarium-style ceiling designed to resemble the night sky, filled with stars.

They have great restaurants, lounges and a fun club!

I just went to Mohegan Sun last weekend. I didn't think the restaurants were much. I would definetely recommend AC over Mohegan Sun.

I am not a big fan of Mohegan, but I love Foxwoods. I like their restaurants better and I think it's much better nightlife. The rooms at the MGM Grand are nice and the spa there is good too.

Mohegan is a lot bigger than I expected. They have several great restaurants (a bobby flay one, etc.)

The nightlife is good - we went to an irish bar which was fun and affordable, they also have a nightclub and other bars too.

Only bad thing and this is a big one - they stop all alcohol at 1 am - everywhere, even on the casino floor.

Was a downer for us, as we didn't even get there till 11.....

I went there for my bachelorette party, but we went during the day so I can't comment on the nightlife. the spa was great though!

Out of Foxwoods, Borgata and Mohegan, I personally think Mohegan is the nicest -
The spa @ Borgata is 'eh'
The spa @ Foxwoods is 'eh'
The spa @ Mohegan is very nice.
