I would personally go somewhere that specialises in passport photos, this way you can be assured that they go right the first time. I had some taken at Costco last year and they were rejected by the passport agency. It was a real pain in the arse.

CVS should be fine. DS was about 7 mons when we took him to get his passport pic. The pple were great. DH held up DS and they snapped away. Took a bunch so they can get the appropriate one.
Sent it in and had no issues

I got my 3 yr old and 1.5 yr old donw when they were both around that age..It is actually the cheapest at Costco..4.99 for the 2 pics! I think I checked the Rite-Aid by me and it was about 8.99 so if you are a member of Costco it is def worth going there!

This is what we did... We just used our DD for the first time! We are finally home! wwhhwwooo hoooo it was rough traveling for the first time but so worth it...

I took Cai at 10 mts old to CVS and they had to take the picture 100 times because he kept moving... but finally they got one that worked. They have a format they need to follow so they won't let you leave with a pic that won't be accepted...
