do you get any at all? a few? a lot?
we're on the 2nd floor, there are 8 units in our building.

Are there many kids in your neighboring apts? We got lfewer than 10 each year when we were in our condo (same set up), but we didn't have many kids in the condos around ours.

We are in about a 35 unit co-op complex, everyone has their own front door outside (there isnt a common hall or anything) and we dont get any, ever.

Ive lived in apartments for the last 15 years of my life and I've gotten 1 trick or treater. Of course, that was the year I didn't buy any candy

we lived in an apartment complex with a lot of units. very few families with kids and we had no trick or treaters for all the years we lived there.

i leave for work when the elementary bus comes through and there are about 10 kids waiting (plus their younger siblings) so I would say yes, there are kids.
I just want to make sure I have enough candy!

I live in a complex too and we get a lot.
tons! Unfortunately we also get packs of older kids who don't live here so I don't open my door. I once walked in with them (you need a key to enter my building and obviously they didnt have the key but I had to go in! So they walked in after me ) I was so upset but couldn't do anything about it.

I think I got 3 one year & none the other 5 years I lived in two different mid-rise buildings (5 & 6 floors).
I know live in a garden apt- complex, have a private entrance & personally know a few of the many children that live here & I still didn't get any last year when it was on Saturday.
I think kids in Westchester go to the mall. . .

We have a townhouse, and we get a good number of trick-or-treaters -- at least 30 kids I think on average.
We're in the process of buying and moving to a farm down South, so I am pretty sure this will be our last year to have trick-or-treaters.  (B/c it will be a large, secluded farm)
ETA -- When we lived in an apartment building, we never got trick-or-treaters. I would, however, have some candy on hand just in case.

i got some when we lived in one, but not alot..there were kids there but i was working at the time so didnt get home to late..with halloween on a weekend you may get more then usual

We have a very similar setup and we get MAYBE 5 per year. One bag of candy is usually just fine!

I get a couple - maybe 3 or 4. This is in a building with 120+ units. It seems like there are more little kids lately so I am expecting a few more this year.
