What's on your "Bucket List"?

The other post re: if you are too old to do something got me thinking, what are some things you want to achieve or do before you die?

I want to be a published author. I've been writing poetry since I was 4, and wrote my first full length "novel" at 8...wasnt any good probably, but still. It's always interested me, and now in my current field I would like to be published in research or even write a book.

I would like to be a home-owner.

I would like to learn how to cook...I mean REALLY cook.

I would like to take up the guitar again.

I want to teach a class.

~ to travel all over the world (too many places to list)
~take a big family trip to israel
~ own a vacation house & boat
~become in shape again
~scuba
~catch a fish that is at least half my body weight

Most of the things on my bucket list involve travelling.

Alaska
Spain
Greece
Italy

-Have a job where I don't have to go on a parkway/highway OR ideally be a SAHM

-Travel to Europe and see where my Great Grandparents came from

-Learn to knit or crochet...I should say have to patience to learn

-Own a summer house/vacation house

travel the country in an RV with DH for a couple weeks... we're trying to plan that in the next 2 yrs... before any babies are on the way!

* live by the beach
* see europe
* bake the best bread my family has ever had (seriously working on this one)
* "retire" at a "young" age
* after the paralegal program i'm doing, go back to school and get a "real" degree
* learn to play a musical instrument
* climb a mountain
* run in a race

- Adopt/foster a child
- Learn ASL (DH's brother is deaf)
- Go on a honeymoon (DH and I never had a chance to go since I had just started a new job right before our wedding)

- Start my own consulting firm, and successfully run it.
- Run more marathons and break the 4 hour mark
- Patent an idea
- Be published
- Be remembered as a great mom and wife
- Learn French (working on it slowly)
- Travel, travel, and travel some more
- Leave a legacy and a scholarship at my alma mater

And really not much else. Travel, continue dancing, continue to meet crazy/inspiring/interesting people and continue to have crazy/inspiring/interesting experiences. I don't need much else.
