Re: Anyone doing the breastfeeding class

I didn't take a single class when I was pregnant with DS. I was working full time and just never had time.

This time around, I am not planning on taking anything either. I figure my hands on experience from my son should be enough.

But, I did EBF for 14 months without a class Chat Icon

I just called good sam and asked when I should schedule all my classes and they gave me a time frame. The breastfeeding class is 2 days for 2 1/2hrs a day and it is $50. The child birth class, we are doing an all day saturday class and its $120. Just call good sam and ask for the perinatal education center

I am sure I could get by without them, but I am so anal that I figured, it can't hurt so I might as well. Congrats on EBF for so long, thats awesome, I hope it works for me, I will be very disappointed if I can't do it. But I am going in to it with a positive attitude.

And I doubt you need ANY class with your 2nd, being a mommy already is the best hands on class you could ever take LOL

Hey, knowledge is power. So I say go for the classes if it can work into your schedule!! Chat Icon

I suppose classes would be null and void with subsequent children....but I don't think I am prepared for twins. Chat Icon Chat Icon
