The same thing happened to Chels when she was around 9-10 months, I still see it in my mind all the time. It was awful!!! I think I was more shaken up than she was!!! They're so resilient but it's soooooo scray!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm finally ok, I was just really shaken up. Adam seems to be ok, a little clingy when I put him down but overall in a good mood. He has a red mark on his cheek which I'm hoping won't turn into a bruise. I just keep telling myself he's ok and that's all that matters. I think I sprouted a grey hair today!

Oh Dina, I'm so sorry! Thankfully he's ok! Accidents happen, but I can imagine how scared you were! I've been worried about his happening with DS and I think I'm just going to strap him into the changing table every time from now on.

Oh Dina, I'm so sorry that happened to Adam (and you). Most important thing is he is just fine and you know what, he will never even remember it. Don't beat yourself up, these things happen. He is fine and probably already forgot all about it. Just incase, all his little girlfriends can cheer him up tomorrow You on the other hand will remember, but eventually It will be easier on you too. Are you and Adam coming tomorrow?

OMG...don't beat yourself up...it probably won't be the last time...I have completely lost count of how many times DS has fallen - on his head, on his back, on his face, off the changing table, out of bed, off a chair - it's a never-ending problem. I've pretty much gone the route of "shake it off, you're fine" and he is.

I know it's hard to not beat yourself up over it, but try to remind yourself it happens all the time & it's not your fault. When my DS was 3 months old he was laying on the bed literally about 3 inches away from me. I was sitting on the bed & DD jumped on to play with DS. She accidentally rolled him off the bed. I was inches away & I couldn't grab him quickly enough. He hit the floor & It was one of the worst moments ever. He cried for a good 5 minutes. In the end, he doesn't remember a second of it & it traumatized me more than him.
I'm glad he's okay!

I know this doesn't make you feel any better, but it happens SO often!! It's such a common thing. I'm sure it must have been the most awful thing in the world for you to go through- but I assure you, he has already forgotten about it! It was definitely much harder on you than on him! Thank goodness, he is fine and didn't really get hurt. Don't beat yourself up- these things happen all the time. Many for you and Adam!! You're a great mommy!!!

Aw Dont blame yourself but I know how you feel. I am glad he is ok.
My daughter did it too at 14 months ..same thing....I was RIGHT over her and she slithered thru and i caught her in between my 2 legs...she still got a nice bruise too on side of her face where she hit the drawers.
I cried so bad....it was the worst but to be honest in less than 5 min she was running aroung again! LOL
me..on the other hand..took me days to calm down.

Dont beat yourself up. I know its hard but these things do happen from time to to and just be grateful that DC is okay!
My DS fell from the shopping cart last year and I still can remember that sound of his head hitting the floor. I rushed him to the ped too and he was fine, he stopped crying in about 2 minutes after the fall. And I told hte nurse its just a bad mommy day!!!
