We got our appliances from Appliance world in huntington

We have all thermador- my parents got there sub zero fridge from there and there thermador appliances and bosch dishwasher

we got all thermador appliances because if we got everything we got a free hood and vent and dishwasher

Once you pick what you want go to Dial A Brand on Sunrise Hwy in Merrick.

We have a SubZero, GE Flattop range, Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher (split, so we have 2) and a Thermador Oven...

I soooooooooooooooooo recommend the SubZero, its the BEST. The doors on it are so heavy, we call it the vault. Also love the dishwashers!

We got ours from Appliance World in Huntington as well. Mr. Jay in Williston Park also carries high-end brands and has a good rating with the BBB.


ETA: Not your question, but I would stay away from Viking. I did a ton of research before purchasing our appliances earlier this year and learned that Viking appliances are extremely trouble prone.

I got mine (all thermador) from AJ Madison in Brooklyn. They beat everyone else's prices and they were SO EASY to work with. they have a website but Sub-Zero/Wolf will not allow anyone to publish prices online. I am really happy with all of the thermador appliances so far and I LOVE the way they look. When we first started I too was set on wolf because I like the red knobs but now I am happy I went with Thermador.

we had a sub zero 36" in our condo - top fridge bottom pull out freezer - i found it to hold a ton of stuff - the door is heavy - and it shows tons of fingerprints if you have stainless steel - i would only do one with kids that is cabinet front

i wanted a french door friidge - cabinet front - very few on the market - we got the theremador one -while very tall definetly holds less than the sub z - it is too shallow because all the mechanicals are int he back - the sub z most are on top

we have a wolf stove and cook top in our condo - don't get the stainless steel bottom stove - hard to keep nice and the stainless steel scratched easily

also as far as ovens we had a wolf in our condo - i loved the interior blue color but overall i hated the wolf oven -the slowest to heat up -


we have theramdor - and they make the professional series with Blue knobs - my dh likes to cook and the star burner cooks more effficient - the oven heats up very fast

we have a thermador dishwasher because it was free - but if i was picking i would get a meile - they are rate the highest and everyone i know who has one loves it

Also, for the ones that went to dial a brand...do you NEED to know which model etc ur getting or will they walk you through it...

Also for the ppl that have Sub Zeros...I feel like they aren't BIG fridges??? KWIM...I feel like they don't hold much bc they're tall but not deep...the cu ft on them (not the huuuuge ones) but the normal run of the mill sub z's aren't that deep at all!

Yes because they're more price beaters than a showroom...so i'd go to a showroom, see what you want, price it out and then have them beat it...

I feel like my fridge is pretty big...I'll take a pic of the inside if you want but not tonight, cuz I'll be in the Bronx! Tomorrow evening!

Just an FYI-

Wolf appliances have a set price determined by location. So our north east location has a set price, which can differ from lets say the west. I believe if you live in California you will be paying a couple of hundred $ more than us in NY. Stores MUST follow the price set by wolf no matter what. There is no room to wiggle. Sometimes you may find a floor model, and can get a discount.

However, we got our Wolf range and hood at PC Richards because they were willing to decrease the price of our other appliances we were buying at the same time substantially because of how big our "tag" was. So our GE cafe series fridge and dishwasher were discounted majorly. Every once in a while wolf has a rebate which you will get no matter which store you shop in for a couple of hundred dollars off.

Another thing I found out about wolf, is that 2 times a year I believe prices can be increased depending on cost of steel, and it is best to lock a price before that date. When I bought mine 2 years ago the date happened to be Nov 1st. I was able to lock in a price and not take delivery on it for 8 months. I could have even canceled, no strings.

We love our wolf, and the red knobs too!
