Can anyone recommend a European tour company?
My hubby and I are planning a trip for summer, but think we want to do a tour company planned trip.
We want to go for about 2 weeks, and we definitely want to hit Paris and London....but are open for anywhere else, really!
I'd love to hear some testimonials, advice on where to go, etc!
Thanks!!!

Re: Can anyone recommend a European tour company?
I had done a Globus Tour of Italy a few years ago with our extended family.
Friends of mine have done the Trafalgar tours of London and Paris.
To tell you the truth though, I actuallly prefer going on my own without a tour.
In the past, I've looked a tour company brochures just to get an idea of itinerary and then book something similar myself at my own pace doing what I want to do.

They are both expensive, but I've heard great things about Abercrombie and Kent and Tauck.

My parents love Tauck. It is expensive, but you worth it, they were brought on private tours at some locations that the general public cannot see. I do think it's an older crowd. My parents have met people from all over the country and remain friends with them and visit one another.

I guess it depends what you're looking to do, but if you're under 35 and looking for more of a "fun" tour you can look into Contiki.

Re: Can anyone recommend a European tour company?
my friend went on a globus tour through Italy and liked it a lot. DH and i booked the same tour through Globus a year after my friend. Unfortunately they canceled our tour and we wound up going through Italy on our own. I was nervous, but it all worked out well!
I have friends that have also used Contiki tours and enjoyed them as well!
