REcommend a chimney company you used who...
didn't rip you off or force you to buy a metal lining ?
I feel like they are all trying to rob us - and it's so annoying. thanks for the recommendation

good luck with your search. I had three companies all try to sell me different things. It turned out all I needed was a chimney cap and some masonry work at the top. This cost about $500 as opposed to the $2000 they wanted for a liner and a cap. I found out from the previous owners that the liner was 2 years old. They were in the chimney business.
