why not take the initiative yourself? personally, i think oral sex is A LOT more intimate than sex and since you have no problem w/ that you should feel at ease approaching this situation.

I think if you can't talk about it, you really shouldn't be doing it, especially in the age of AIDS and other STDs. Plus there's always a pregnancy risk. I think there has to at least be a conversation.
Also, I just can't imagine having sex w/ someone I couldn't talk to. Maybe the relationship just needs to progress more.

my question is how are you doing all this other stuff and not sleeping with him? it may be me but something is off when him if he's already done everything else, seen you naked etc...
i would hope to talk to him and if this going someplace, as an above poster said, make sure he is clean as you don't want to get any std's etc...

in talking to a friend of mine, who was the one who introduced me to the world of LIF, she suggested I post my query on here.
i'm dating a guy, who, for many reasons, i have a difficult time opening up to. but apparently have no trouble at all opening my legs to. the situation is this: he's open to, um -servicing me, longer than any man i have ever been with, but doesn't pressure me to reciprocate - i think it's too intimate still - we haven't officially consimated the relationship in the traditional sense. i mean, we're laying there buck naked, he's all over me, but he hasn't initiated the ...consimation part. i feel awkward asking him, i've never had to ask - most men read the obvious body language and no words are needed. so this is completely new to me.
tell me, LIF, how would you broach the topic without sounding like a cheap slut?

If you are old enough to be doing the things you are doing you should be able to handle an adult conversation about doing the deed. However I advise Don't word it the way you worded your post .. it comes across cheap which is not what you are looking for.
