WHere to get a haircut in Syosset/OysterBay area...
Having been living in our new house for about a year now and I'm still driving back to my old salon which is about 30minutes away. Looking for a good place close to home...Any recommendations?

I used to love Dakotah Salon (Jericho Tpke in Woodbury). Now I go to Jon Megaris in Plainview (S.Oyster bay rd) to follow my colorist (Jordana). Tasso (sp?) gives a really great haircut.

I went to Salon Lissome in Huntington (on Jericho) for about 3 years (I saw Nancy) but it became too hard to get appointments.
A colorist that I used to use before Salon Lissome at Jason Royce moved to Cactus in Plainview (the one on South Oyster Bay Road). I was kinda against going to a chain place, but I have been going for about 4 months and have been happy. I see Eddie for color and Desiree for cuts. Desiree is also awesome at up dos and special occasion hair dos.
There's also Salon ID but I havent been there.
