Please let this be it
another prospective tenant.
Her credit came in great. Older lady, her daughter and grandaughter.
Gave her a break on the cleaning fee..she asked for a reduction in rent.
I know my cleaning lady will cut me a deal.
Also willing not to take a credit check fee..nice of me but the market blows.
Fingers crossed. She asked me to mail her the lease.
I will finalize tonight and once the deposit is collected I think it's 90% there.
Frankly, until they move in and give me the first months' rent I won't think it's real.

so far so good.
Lease will be signed tomorrow. Check in hand.
Fingers crossed that I finally have a tenant that seems ok.
She goes to bible study Tuesday mornings. Then has lunch with her friends.
She's retired.

Well she called me that night telling me her grandaughter found another place. They had to go look. I almost had a heart attack.
Turns out by the time I got home from work, they saw the place and decided mine was better.
They put the deposit down and will move in on Oct 29. I gave them a few days on the weekend to move in instead of doing it on a Monday, I'm nice.
So fingers crossed that they like living there and they want to stay for a while. Frankly hoping if it all works out they stay longer than 12 months.

Awesome update!!
I know how you feel. We have a condo that we rent and it took 2 months to get a renter and we are crossing fingers this girl wants to stay forever...she is perfect! 
I hope your new tenents end up being long term and you can cross this off your list for a while!
