Last minute short overnight road trip - where would you go??
We are thinking of going on a short road trip tomorrow, but where??? We haven't taken DS away anywhere and he just turned one. My parents offered us their SUV and we have tomorrow and Monday. What is a nice place to go (with DS), overnight, that's about a 4 hour drive?

I would say Mystic CT...It is a nice place to go with a little one. And the weather is suppose to be nice...

I would say Mystic CT...It is a nice place to go with a little one. And the weather is suppose to be nice...
I agree, Mystic is nice and you can take DS to the aquarium!

Poconos. Leaves are starting to change. There is a nice area around the Great Wolf Lodge. (HIGHLY recommend the Lodge) There is also a 50s diner around there that has miniature golf, a few arcade games, great ice cream and food. It is in a town with some cute shops.
This would be the week we'd go back to Great Wolf, but we had to cut back with the wedings we have coming up.

We went overnight last night to CoCo Key in CT and had a great time. Holiday Inn Hotel had a nice pool and we stopped in Essex CT on the way home to ride on the Steam locomotive.
