Bed vs Vacation
DH and I are trying to decide what we should spend our money on. We have a lot of debt since I have been sick that we are working on paying off. I would like to get our debt down so we can move into a house/ condo. For our HM is Aug we went to Bermuda and we missed a few things so we want to go back. We also are in need of a new bed. One of the coils is starting to be felt and it is only a full and now with the dog we would like to upgrade. How do you think we should prioritize?

Normally I would say vacation. I'm all for vacations! In this case, I would have to go with bed. Nothing like a new bed. Start saving for vacation as soon as you buy the bed. All your change. That's what we do!

I would say bed, but only because when you come back from your vacation tired and wanting some good rest, your bed will still be uncomfy.

I would say bed bc I'd be afraid if you chose vacation and then your bed broke or something you'd be forced to buy a bed and then be out double the money.

Definately a BED! My wife and I bought a Kingsdown mattress a few years ago. We financed it through Sleepies, 3 yrs no interest and it has been the best thing we have ever purchased. The mattress is guarenteed for life and you wish you could spend your life in bed, trust me. Definately check them out before you book your lovely vacation.

I would pay off my debt. Sorry, I know that's NOT what you want to hear but I wouldn't be able to go on vaca or purchase something big if I knew I had "alot of debt." That would be the smartest move.

continue to pay down the debt, but also put aside money for the bed and hopefully be able to purchase that in a few months.
IMO you shouldn't go on a vacation like that unless you can really afford it, so if you guys need a few days away, try something more local that you can drive to and not spend as much $$

oh bed ALLLL the way... having the right bed/mattress will make you have a better sleep, therefore make you have better days, which in turn makes you yearn for a vacation just a little bit less   thats my reasoning at least! and believe me, i'm like queen of vacays even if we are dead broke 
ETA: If it is debt vs bed vs vacay ... of course the debt has to win out IMO

I'm all about vacations, but this is a no-brainer... get a good bed! It might be the one thing that I feel is more important than a getaway. I always joke with my DH when we're in bed all comfy, I say, "it doesn't matter who we are during the day, we sleep like millionaires!"
And I wouldn't even entertain the idea of a vacation until the debt was gone.

What will happen if you go on vacation and the bed has to be replaced when you go back? You will be even deeper in debt.
I am all for vacation but you have to set priorities.
Bed (reasonable $$) and keep paying debt.
Then when debt is payed off, go on vacation. Vacation (anywhere) is still concidered a luxury.
