Shoes and Rain
What do you wear on your feet when its raining out? I don't own "galoshes" and probably won't buy a pair. Flats get soaked within seconds, i'm not a sneaker fan and I feel like its not cold enough to wear regular boots.

Re: Shoes and Rain
I know you said no to all these but Timberlands, Wellies, or sneakers! Are there any other kinds of footwear?
Uggs, flats, sandals, heels, moccassins- they're all gonna get soaked!

Re: Shoes and Rain
i have a pair of cute rainboots that i wear when to work when its raining out, then i change my shoes when i get inside. I never used to wear them, but now that i have a long walk from my car to the train station, i have to otherwise all my shoes and pants would be ruined! If you don't like rainboots, at least try sneakers?
there's not many other options out there

Re: Shoes and Rain
I have Ugg rainboots. They are adorable and are lined with sheepskin. So the only downside is that I don't like to wear them in the late spring and summer months because they are quite warm.

Re: Shoes and Rain
I bought my very first pair of rain boots today. It took me almost 2 years to find the kind that i liked and that fit me perfectly and I am actually extremely excited about the rain tomorrow!

Re: Shoes and Rain
I'm wearing some cowboy looking boots today. I'm considering getting the hunter wellies but I have such gigantic calves, I'm afraid they won't fit!

You should be okay with the ones that have the adjuster on them. My co-worker has problems wearing boots because of her calves, too, but any boots with those things work for her.

My co-worker got hers at Strawberry, because she didn't want to spend a lot on them, but I've seen them elsewhere. DSW has some adjustable ones, endless.com, etc.
Ooh, I really like these!

There they are, my beautiful rain boots
My rain boots
I also have pretty wide calfs and these fit me really well. They have a buckle on the side to make for a little more room in that area.

Re: Shoes and Rain
Ok, I think I'm giving in and buying a pair of rain boots this morning. Of course by the time I get to the store, my feet are going to be soaked though
