Gaga's Dress was made from REAL MEAT
I can't even post a picture of it, it's too gross for me
From the designer: Franc Fernandez was the designer/artist responsible for creating the mess
How heavy was it?
"It was fairly heavy. She said it was the most comfortable dress of the night, though. I'm guessing it weighed around forty pounds. It's built on a corset, so the weight is distributed on her chest, so it's not like it's hanging off her neck."
Was it comfortable?
"She said so."
Were there leftovers?
"Not very much, no."
Did it leave a blood trail?
"No, not at all. It's actually very clean meat, very sturdy and strong and doesn't run at all. It's the meat you use to make a roast, where you roll it in a tortilla and put it in the oven. Hence, the shoes — that's why they were wrapped in butcher twine."
Did it smell?
"Gaga said it smelled good. It had a sweet smell. It hadn't been sitting out for more than five hours. And it's not a heavy gross meat."

I'm still not really buying that it was real meat. I've seen the pic of the dress being "put together" but I still feel like it's BS and just a publicity stunt. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see how that wouldn't have been bloody smelly mess.

I agree. I am totally not buying it! You should see my hands and cutting board after handling meat... . If that was real meat there would have been some juices flowing on that white hair of hers...

Plus.. it didn't oxidize at all? What the heck could they have treated it with that would have let it stay bright red while it was being made and then worn?

I don't think she's trying to prove anything. I think she's just an attention wh0re who thrives on getting attention for being weird and different.
FWIW, it's working b/c people are talking about her and her crazy wardrobe all the time.
