I Did the Lasik Eye Surgery
On Saturday I had the Lasik Surgery for my eyes. I got it done with Dr. Dela Russo, well actually his son. You know the doctors all over the radio.
The procedure was not painful and literally took like 10 minutes all together if even that.
Besides your vision being cloudy from all the drops, you can see right away that you vision is so much better as soon as you get out of the procedure.
Just wanted to share, its so awesome to be able to see!!

I second that. I had it done 4 years ago by Dr. D'Aversa from OCLI. The results were immediate, just like the OP said. 4 years later and I've never regretted a second of it. If you're unsure about it - just go for it! It's worth every cent! And check with your insurance company - mine ended up paying for 25% of it.

Thanks everyone, I am super excited. Today we went out to run errands and as DH was driving I was amazed.
I kept telling Dh I can read that, oh I can see that. LOl, Im such a dork
Its like the PP said, you just have to do it. I been talking about it for years and I was like im going to go for a consultation and I am so happy. I am only at day 3
My BFF is probably going to do it in October now and my BIL is going to look into it.

Mine was something around $4500, I believe. I had it done at TLC in Manhattan.

Congrats!!!! I just got mine done in June and it was the best money ever.
My contact RX was a - 7.5....today I went for my 3 mth check up and I have 20/15 vision!!!

where in Westbury did you go? DH wants to get it done and he works in Westbury so I don't think it makes sense for him to go where I went b/c of all the follow up appointments.

This is exactly what I did. And fyi for care credit approval, as long as you did not claim bankruptcy and have a heart beat you get approved in matter of seconds.
I was also told that the line of credit stays open in case you have any other medical procedures where you need to use it. She even mentioned if my dog had surgery!
Except I got it done in NJ.
