Quick getaway - October
We really have our hearts set on Turks & Caicos, but obviously the first weekend falls into Hurricane Season and I just don't want to risk it.
Does anyone have any recommendations? We'd really like adults-only resorts - but won't rule it out if it's not.
We're going a Thursday to Monday and prefer the beach.
Also, if we don't require a Passport, that would be a bonus...but will consider otherwise.

Aruba is out of the hurricane belt as is Bonaire and Curacao. We've been to Aruba and loved it. We stayed at the Marriott resort. It's not adults only and Aruba requires a passport.
We're going away the first week in November to Punta Cana and we were also nervous about it being hurricane season. But I did a lot of research on the weather during that time in PC and it doesn't really rain that much and as a precaution we bought cancel for any reason insurance.

i've been to bermuda in the middle of october and it was beautiful!!! that's closer to the end of hurricane season, so i wasn't as worried anymore.

The only Carribean places you won't need a passport for are Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands.

Turns out we're heading to Barbados - no hurricanes and we're getting hubby his passport (with super expedited service!)
