Reccommend a quick getaway
-within 3 hours Driving distance
-for 1-2 nights
-something for us to do- NOT GAMBLING. I will be 30+ wks pg.
Any ideas? I NEED to get away for a few days.

I have never been, but I have heard great reviews on the Norwich Spa in CT.

How about Hunter Mountain? Poconos?
Montauk (it is off season so you get great deals)

Maybe the Berkshires? I've really only been to ski but it seems like there are a lot of cute towns and maple farms and spas - that kind of thing.
ETA: DC and Boston are just over 3 hours I think if you want more action.

Thanks for the ideas ladies!
I'm looking for more of a general location than an actual Inn/hotel.
My MIL works for the sheraton so we can get decent rates there.
I'm going to look into the other places anyway though

Great shops/places to eat.
Beautiful lake.
I know a great B&B the woman is awesome, and makes the most delicious breakfast ever!!!

We had an amazing time in Philly believe it or not.....
Great restaurants, museums, history, shopping....FM if you want more info.

I second the Norwich Spa.
We usually stay at this bed and breakfast in CT.

It's a short drive to Mystic. They have a nice aquarium there. It's also close to Mohegan Sun and Foxwood. I know you said no casinos or gambling but they have comedy shows and concerts there too.
