Cord blood ? for moms of 2 or more

I didn't do cord blood banking with my first, but I DID do it with my second. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and on the fence about whether or not to do it again. Did anyone do it for more than one child? What were your reasons? Or if you decided not to, why was that? Thank you so much!!

I did it for my 1st and 2nd and am on the fence about my 3rd

The reason I wanted to do it for more than one is because my understanding is that there is a great chance of compatibility amongst siblings ...

I did it for both. Just because they are siblings does not mean they will be meet all the genetic criteria to use the others cord blood. If I had a 3rd, I would be on the fence about banking it because the 3rd would have a great chance of being a match to DC 1 or 2.

I did it for DD#1 and DD#2. I view cord blood banking as insurance that I hope we never have to use. I wanted to be sure that I had this so-called 'insurance' for both of my daughters equally. God forbid we need to use it for one DD and then later on needed it for the other DD and there wasn't anything available because I only did it for one of them, I would feel pretty shittty. I feel at ease knowing that I have both covered, so to speak. And I love to hear updates from ViaCord on the advances they are making!
