It was red, and on the outside edge. My ped said it was from straining too hard. Chat Icon

With Jack it was red and stringy - almost mucous like......

I kept the diaper and took it to the ped to be tested - he had a milk protein allergy.

Mucus and brownish maroon. Honestly I thought it looked more like stringy undigested vegtables. . . don't know if this helps but it didn't look like blood at all and I dismissed it at first. If you are not sure, save the diaper and bring it to your ped. thay can tell you and test it!

Ok, I haven't noticed anything before and I'm the poop nazi...but just now when I changed Lola she had the tiniest of tiniest red stringlike things in her diaper. It was really small and the only one.

She is a grunter and has been straining a bit.

We are going to the GI specialist next week, so I will bring it up then, just wondering in the meantime..... Chat Icon
