Where can DH and I go for the weekend that is in driving distance?
We will be married 5 yrs in November and would like to go away for a long weekend. Looking for some suggestions. We have been to Newport, Boston, & Philly. Looking to do something different.

Mystic and the casinos are fun. We did this in July. In Mystic we did a cruise, lots of shopping and the aquarium and then at night we drove up to Foxwoods for a show and drinks. We stayed at an adorable b and b with delicious breakfast called The Mermaid Inn.

I know Niagra Falls is sort of a long drive, but we hope to do that one day! Just a suggestion

cooperstown! we stayed at the best bed and breakfast (awesome gourmet food).
theres a brewery nearby you can take a tour at, great restaurants in town, the hall of fame and musuem, the lake. perfect amount to do in a weekend.

We were just married 5 years too. We spent our anniversary at the Crystal Springs Resort and Spa. We had a fantastic time and got a great couples massage. They have 7 pools. 5 of which are in door. It was really nice.

DC is a lot of fun.. good restaurants, sightseeing, and you can get there in a couple of hours.
