Budget quick trip
DH and I need to get away. We have time and $$ constraints.
We have always loved the caribbean and mexico. Thinking 4-5 days tops. Love the cape..etc..we could go anywhere as long as it provides R&R and fun. I'm a bit of a princess when it comes to hotel accommodations though so nothing too rustic.
Any sugs?

If you are looking to go right now I would avoid the Caribbean or Gulf coast. I have never been, but I would look into Las Vegas. The hotels out there are anything but rustic. I liked Cape Cod, but the weather wouldn't be warm enough for me.

DH and I just did a quick trip to the Crystal Springs Resort for our anniversary. We had an awesome time. They have 7 pools. We got a couples massage too. I think you could do it for a long weekend. The Mountain Creek water park is right there too.

DR would be the cheapest option in the Carribean. I love the Excellence Resorts chain. I would highly suggest Excellence Playa Mujeras in Mexico because it gives you all of the glitz and glam you're looking for, but it might be out of budget.

A friend is taking a cruise to New England Labor day weekend through BJs. its costing her 500 total PP. I thought that was a steal and you would have EVERYTHING on board.
