Didn't even geth thru the first link about teething and I think it's ridiculous. Nothing against you who posted.. but teething doesnt cause pain and it's just your kids being cranky from separation anxiety.. ummm I don 't buy that one bit...

Oh, and it's just a coincidence that when Mason has teeth cutting he gets a cold Right!! Every time a tooth cuts his nose runs and he's congested, but according to this guy it has NOTHING to do with teething

yeah i don't know about this article. DS was miserable when he was teething and drooling like crazy and it hurt him. how can he say that it's not painful???!!!!

Why are doctors morons when it comes to pain.
(DH is one so I feel I can lash out)
Pain is a relative sensation! Sometimes its worse than for others.
I had such gas pains when I was prego, I thought I was miscarrying. Twice. I would have been in the emergency room, if my DH a GI doc didn't diagnose me with gas each time.
as for
"Further proof that teething does not hurt: ask an older child, age six or older, if it hurts when his big, adult teeth are erupting? "
I distinctly remember my adult teeth coming in as a child, it was uncomfortable and it hurt, I remember begging my mom to sleep with them, I remember her telling me I'm not a baby. and making me sleep in my bed. I remeber waking in the middle of the night and pacing around the house at age 6, because of the so called non-existent pain.
