Cost of tolls to NY from NC???
We were just there in June, but I can't remember for the life of me how much it cost in tolls? I think there were a couple of you that have driven down South a bit recently and may know? We drive right up I-95 all the way to the NJ Turnpike to Gothels Bridge/Verrazano/Southern State/Sagtikos/LIE, etc.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking around $50? Thanks!

I am pretty sure it is more like $30. Definitely not as much as $50 for a regular car.
The biggest ones are getting out of NY - the rest are minimial.
We have gone back and forth from LI to SC multiples times.

I still have my ezpass... I think it was closer to $16 each way, but those are with the ezpass discounts. I haven't driven up since last october...  Sorry I can't help more. You could google the toll costs and add them up.

Verrazano bridge is $11 one day
The Baltimore Tunnel is like $2-3
Plus the ones in Jersey
I think it also depends which way you go. We sometimes go through Staten Island and others we had to go through the Bronx/Throggs Neck because we had a trailer with us.

I have EZPass, but I think it's higher than PP said. You have Verrazano one way, Goethals the other. The turnpike is at least 8.00. You have the DE bridge plus the DE turnpike, each about 2.00. A toll in northern MD, plus the MD tunnel. So you are looking at at least 25.00 one way.

Oh, I actually left from SI the last time I came back home from NY so I didn't have to pay the Verazzano toll as part of my trip since I'd paid it at some other point during my visit so it wasn't on the same bill for some reason that time... I think that's why I forgot it.
Isn't it cheaper anyway with ezpass?

My sister just took a trip to SC and she used my EZ pass - I checked my account and she used approximately $42 round trip.
