Am I the only one that is constantly checking her underwear (total TMI)

But I'm having weird cramping, not like AF just stretching pains...so I keep checking my underwear I'm soooo freaking paranoid..I need to just chill..on top of it my mother calls me to tell me don't carry DD around a lot bc it's dangerous in the first trimester...OK, so I'll have my 20 month old run around the streets of Long Island when she decides not to listen to me just bc I can't carry her anymoreChat Icon

You are not the only one. i definitely used to obsess about it until I had to "slap" myself out of it..LOL! There is no use in obsessing because it won't change a thing and it will just make you high strung and nervous! You will be totally fine! Chat Icon

I think it's normal to be nervous when you're so early on. Once you see the heartbeat you'll calm down a bit, I know I did. Just remember that every pregnancy is different so you wont necessarily feel and your body won't react the same as it did when you were pregnant with your DD.

ETA: forgot to mention that I examine the toilet paper every single time, just makes me feel better. And for some gross reason, the more discharge I see, the happier I get...wierd I know!

Some of my cramping would go away for some time if I changed the way I was standing/sitting...and yes I always check my underwear while pregnant-cramping or not.

Omg you just described how I feel to a T. I too have cramping! It's weird; a little like AF but not really. Its more of an annoying pain. That and I do feel stretching and weird pressure. I'm so paranoid because it's so early still. I've been checking my underwear every single time I pee (which has increased a lot in the last few days). I hear you about this month being a long one. My first appointment is not until September.

Weird TMI question (sorry) but what kind of discharge do you look for? All I've had is clear mucous looking discharge. Is that it?
I get so nervous!!

I'm getting the SAME EXACTpains..it's not like AF cramps it's more like a hip cramp or even a gas bubble in my hip if that makes sense...close to my pelvic bone..OB said that bc it's my second pregnancy it actually may be more painful and it def is...so I guess my body is supposed to be doing what it's doing..as for CM mine is more creamy (total total total TMI)Chat Icon

Yep! I know exactly that feeling. It is like a gas bubble!! It's strange. Almost like I can feel my inside expanding. It's more like a dull cramp. I totally know what you mean! And thanks for explaining ( I swear it kind of is TMI) but I worry so much I want to make sure what I have is normal. A lot of times its watery too and theres so much of it. I think we have a lot of the same symptoms! That makes me feel better.

Funny, but why is it that after I read this post, I had the sudden urge to pee (and check my underwear)? Lol. Yes, I am totally paranoid, too.

At 9 weeks I check religiously...and I check the toilet paper. I still have some cramping and I joke with DH a lot that I swear I can feel my uterus expanding. I also had some spotting from 6-7 weeks, so I am absolutely insane checking for every little thing!

I do the same thing. I am a nervous wreck and feel crampy at times and look everytime I pee too. I guess its just what we do while we want until the next doctors appointment.

I find myself still doing this from time to time at 32 weeks. During my first trimester I was on progesterone which leaked out and felt like AF. I would run to the bathroom randomly to sneak a peak!

I do it as a habit everytime I pee since I got my BFP... I also did it most of my pregnancy w/ DD b/c I had a m/c before her..
