BOIL - total TMI - OUCH !!!!
Ugh, so I just got back from health services at my job. I though I had an ingrown hair on my bikini line
It was irritated, swollen and excruciatingly (sp) painful, every time I walked or sat down, I wanted to cry as it was right in the "crease" of my V and my thigh......
I went there and she had to cut it with a scalpel and drian it...OMG, so nasty and painful but I feel 100000% better
Now I have to take antibiotics for 7 days but thank god for health services, just another perk of my job

Make sure to use a brand new razor for when you shave. You have to make sure to keep really dry. I am sorry you got one. I get them from ingrown hairs and they are so painful.

I had the same thing 2 months ago at top of bikini, bottom of my belly and also went to health services at my job where she cut it and drained it.. I agree great perk of my job, mine was a cyst that had come to the surface and thank g-d they were able to drain it... Like we dont have anough annoyances during pregnancy that we need these little extra...
I hope it feels better soon!!

yikes i had one b4, they hurt and are nasty. My dr told me if it didnt pop in 48 hours, he would have to do what you had done.
So i sat in a hot tub for several hours until it popped

in my opinion- once you sort of have one, it's easier to get other ones.. I had one on my thigh right after I gave birth to DD.. I usually don't go to the doctor- I just put very, very hot compresses and draw out salve on it to bring it to pop.
I probably get them every 2 years or so- when I feel one coming on.. I put tea tree oil on it- that usually stops it in its tracks.
