trying to soak off opi gel ? help

trying to soak off opi gel ? help
got the opi gel .... needless to say after 5 days its cracking all over the place.
i soaked them in acetone for 5 minutes and its not coming off...i thought soaking them off was supposed to be easy... is there a special soak they use at the nail salons? any thoughts would be appreciated

any time i have soaked my nails it has always been a long process
i just rip them off

i was able to peel mine without any polish remover. but there was a lady at the nail salon today and she was soaking her nails for at LEAST a half an hour today and she was doing the OPI gel.

I had to soak my nails for about 30 minutes in a cup of nail polish remover and then they filed/buffed them. My nails were so ruined after this experience. I had them done at the end of May and now (2 1/2 months later) they are almost back to where they were before having the gel polish. I have not had a real manicure for weeks to let my nails heal.

oh man.... they said at salon only quick soak like 5 minutes.... ithought i was doing something wrong!
i guess they lied lol time to rip them off the best i can...and yups what i do see is ruined....geesh ty everyone

I never soaked once, just lifted and peeled and the entire thing came off with no damage at all.

had to get them drilled off today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
soaked at the salon for 10 minutes and it wouldnt budge...interesting since it did crack and chip....
never doing it again thats for!!! eeks!
