What to do with Bridesmaid Dress?
After you are in a wedding as a bridesmaid what do you do with the dress?
My hubby wants to to see if the dress place will buy it back?
Any suggestions.. TIA..

I'm pretty much out of this stage. When I was I have donated them to an organization that gives them to girls who can't afford to buy their own prom dresses.
I don't remember the name of the org. but a co-worker (guidance counselor in a hs) of mine asks for donations from the faculty every year and coordinates the drop off.
My asst. principal, literally had over 29 dresses (like the movie ). The middle school was performing "Once Upon a Mattress" and all of her dresses became the costumes for the entire cast

You can try to sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Its worth a shot.

I've donated them to the Salvation Army. There are donation sites where teenagers can reuse them as prom dresses.

I donated to the prom group....they also want dress bags, shoes, costume jewelry, too....got rid of a ton of stuff that way.

It collected dust in my closet for a long time, but it actually was put to use by my MOH in my wedding this past May. I don't care what she does with it now, at least it's outta my closet. As if there was a snowball's chance in hell that I'd ever fit into the thing again anyway!

I moved June 1st... and i threw out 4 bm dresses 1 from 7 years ago, 2 from 5 years ago and 1 from 2 years ago... lol

I've donated them to my ESL students who couldn't afford a dress for the prom. Other dresses, I've given to the school social worker for other students who couldn't afford dresses.
