Great topic... since I conceived through IVF, we were petrified to do anything for the first trimester. Since then, we have only had sex a handful of times. The reason is, it really hurts for some reason. Anyone else have pain? I have a tilted uterus so I am not sure if that could be it. We have tried different positions, but it is always painful for me. It sucks!

OK now I feel like the oddball out. I posted about this before, since I got pregnant I seriosuly have ZERO desire, like sometimes the thought of it makes me cringe.
At first I thought it was a 1st trimester thing cause of the M/S, but nope 2nd trimester and third too... NOTHING, I can live without it the whole pregnancy, I dont know what happened to me My husband is seriously about to die lol... we fight over it sometimes but what can I do???
P.S. Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary and I am seriously dreading tonight, no joke. Im 36 weeks now and I have serious pressure "down there" so sex is the LAST thing on my mind.
Also, I hate all of you who are extra turned on lol.. can I have some of that please

My Dr said no "deep penetration" in the beginning due to some blood collection on ultrasound.
That kinda ended things...
We were both too scared.

someone earlier mentioned using lube. maybe that will help?

wait wait...even more TMI, "o" makes me cramp (uterus cramps) and it FREAKS me out, so sometimes when we do it, I try and make sure I don't. Now what fun is that?! We try and make it fun but sex is never fun with rules. LOL. Does "o" bother anyone else? It goes from feeling good to just really hurting for a few moments.

i remember begging my doctors with both of my pregnancies to take me off of sex! he just laughed me off and said enjoy it while i could!
i tried to pull one over on dh and tell him no sex, and the jerks face actually lit up! he took that as an i-get-other-things-while-never-having-to-give-you-any green light.
i still want to smack him to this day!

I loved sex while I was pregnant.
We were doing it 3-4 per week average. At 36 weeks I'm so uncomfortable that its not possible for me to even find a comfortable position so DH will be lucky if he gets it again before I give birth. I can't wait to give birth again so we can have no pregnant sex Than I'm sure it will be uncomfortable because of all the baby weight and breast feeding...isn't it wonderful to be a woman.

I am so jealous!!! The "horney hormones" never kicked in for me. I have no desire for sex
 We do other things so that keeps him a little happy but I feel bad. I can not tell him about this thread at all

I've been very nauseous and crampy since BFP...I still forget some days and think I'm about to get AF!! Plus I've had some spotting and some very minor bleeding so I'm not even allowed sex. I just haven't been in the mood at all (except for once, but DH wasn't home and I was already on pelvic rest so it wouldn't have happened anyway ) I do hope that I get off PR and get the horny hormones later on though!!
PS: I have Salt n Pepa stuck in my head now...anyone else?

I didn't have IVF, but I've had pain since the 1st trimester. I can't even remember the last time. I've never been told I have a tilted uterus, but no matter what, I'm in pain. So, I stopped trying. DH is pretty tolerant, but it's starting to take it's toll.

I am sooooooo jealous of all of you!!! Since my BFP I have had sex 3 times, yes 3 and I am 32 weeks pregnant. I am going crazy but DH is afraid he is going to hit our DD, and no matter how much I tell him he can't, it still freaks him out. I cant wait more weeks and then hopefully it will be on. He wants to try for a 2nd relatively soon after DD is born, so at least sex will exist then.

I have had some serious complications since about week 20, so we haven't been able to have sex...
Now at 35 weeks, we're "safe" to take off. Too bad I'm so big and uncomfortable (and past all those insane hormones that made me crazy day and night) to really do much about it.

in the first trimester it was literally like 3 times now maybe a little bit more but i have no desire at all. Once everything gets started I'm good to go but getting me there is a big job I feel bad for DH especially since he loves loves loves my body now

Holy smokes...my sex drive has been ridiculously amped up...for the most part to due to some highly sexual dreams, not involving my DH DH is  that this lasts for the whole pregnancy

My desire has gone down because I cramp and it is very uncomfortable.
DH doesn't want to hurt me so we have only done it a few times since the BFP. However, this past weekend it was considersably better!!! Maybe the cramping is over and my hormones are kicking in!!! I hope!!!
