Telling my Dad tonight and need ideas...
So DH and I have decided to tell our parents. His mom lives in Florida and we told her last night over the phone. This what not what I wanted to do but he was on the phone with her and put her on mute to ask me if it was ok to tell her so I said go ahead. She was very excited and actually said that she thought we were PG but just waiting to tell her when we see her in October. I was like No Way...that's too long to keep a secret like this!
So tonight we are going to tell my Dad. We had already planned on going over there for dinner tonight and since we told his mom last night I thought we should tell my dad tonight.
Anyone have any ideas of how we should tell him?

You could get a "I love my grandpa" onsie and put it in a gift bag for him.
Lots of ladies have baked cakes and written it on the top, since you are going for dinner.

Lots of ladies have baked cakes and written it on the top, since you are going for dinner.
I thought about the onsie but where can I find one TODAY??? lolol
I also thought about the cake idea but I have no time to make it. I work till 5 and we are going over there at 6.

I got my FIL am "I love Grandpa" bib
friends of mine did the following:
you could bring some non alcoholic wine to dinner and be like "sorry thats all I can drink for 9 months"
put a sono picture (if you have one) in a Congrats card..

You could probably find a I love grandpa mug/onesie in any kids store if you have time. .
and for the cake - hey stop at a bakery and have them write it right there!
or get a card for grandpas - they have them at pretty much any card store and write it "from your future grandchild"

we just bought regular onesies that didn't say anything on them...my mom and FIL still got the picture  .

I've seen "I love my Grandpa" stuff at Target, Kohls, Walmart, BRU! You could try any of those places.
Or the cake idea is really cute too!!
So exciting!! I thought my heart was going to explode the night we told our parents! I was so nervous (don't know why! lol) and excited!! Have fun!!!

I am sending DH to Buy Buy Baby since there is one close to his office. I'm sure he will be able to find something there!
I don't know why I was blanking on ideas...must be this PG brain of mine!

I was there on Sunday and they did! Although they were either in pink or blue. SO I didnt get one yet lol

I would get a "grandpa" onesie or bib.
For my dad he is a baseball coach in town for at least 15 years. So all I said to him was so are you taking a teamball team in 2015? He looked at me and the you saw the light bulb go off. He was sooo excited!
Carter's had a cute outfit it says grandpa's lil slugger. there was also a bib that said that. If he is into baseball

I bought an I love Grandpa frame and put a picture of a stork in it with the words Baby X Arriving Dec 2007.
For my ILs I bought at 3 opening frame and put pictures of their other grandkids (2 families) and in the 3rd hole put the same pic as above.

I bought a onsie that said "I love my Mimi and PopPop (This is what my parents want to be called) My mom was like "oh thats cute" my dad was like " Are you pregnant?!" Seeing there excitement was one of the best moments of my life! Have fun tonight!
