Who kicked me in the vagina?

I'm a little over 35 weeks and this weekend I finally know what the "kicked in the vagina" feeling is all about! Ever since Saturday morning I've had this dull pain down there. I'm also getting what feels like dull menstrual cramp pain in my lower uterus but it's constant (not cramps). And about 2 weeks ago I began getting quick, sharp pains which feel like they are IN my vagina randomly.

I told my OB about the quick pains last time and she just smiled and said my body was preparing and the baby is just in position which is uncomfortable for me.

But does anyone have any insight on the first two? My next appointment is only at 37 when they'll do the growth sono...

Talk to your Dr again, but it all sounds very normal to me. Just your body stretching, and preparing for baby. You have a 4-5 lb "weight" sitting on, leaning on and kicking everything inside you. Also, the baby is descending. If you think of it that way, does it kinda feel normal then?

I am 36wks and have been feeling all of those things for a few weeks now. So, I don't think it necessarily means you will go early. It seems to just be getting more frequent and uncomfortable as the weeks go by!

I've had those dull type aches down low almost as long as I have known I was pregnant

I have spoken to the doctor about them and she called them growing pains- and said as long as they arent sharp shooting pains not to worry

but they can be uncomfortable and get sore so I literally feel your pain- I hope you feel better
