I live and also grew up in Medford. My dh grew up in Canaan Lake area of Patchogue. Instead of a Patchogue GTG, lets call it a Patchogue Medford GTG. Oh and to answer your question, I agree with what everyone wrote. I love the area, but there are parts of Patchogue and Medford that aren't great. But that is usually the case in all areas.
I agree but over all it is a great place!! And would move back there in a heart beat!! I hate living on the North Shore!!

oooh okey dokey's is nice! i have a restaurant.com gift card there. i am only in medford on the weekends, till i get married the end of sept then i will be there full time. if we do the gtg in the summer can it be on the weekend and is it a girls night out or guys too? i need friends!! moving from westbury to medford is a big jump for me!

My Dh graduated PMHS in 1988 and I graduated PMHS in 1991. What about your fiance?

Congratulations!!! We also live in Medford - we've been here for almost two years and really like it.

I posted on this topic a long time ago too. We should still do a GTG, but we'd have to think of another place besides Okey Dokey. That resturant is now closed.

If I am not mistaken I believe that canaan lake is in the back Yard of the house. It is not far from Sunrise. It is off Old Ocean Ave. I may not be in there until maybe Aug. But I would love to have a GTG to help me learn the area. I have a co worker that lives in E Patchogue on Sipp Ave.
Oh DH mom lives off this road. We live in Patchogue right near the Park off Waverly and 3rd.
