Honestly, for a baptism I think its too casual. Its an adorable dress that I would change my little girl into AFTER the baptism, but it is such an important event that I feel something more dressier is appropriate.

I agree, it's perfect for a baptism. Who's judging really, the priest?
I think God would like the simpleness and wouldn't mind that it wasn't all satiny and frilly

It's all about what YOU want...some people feel that lace and satin is something a Christening dress should include...some don't.
I think it's beautiful and delicate (though I agree with Ophelia, I'd see if they could embroider a cross in lieu of the monogram) and if it matches your style and taste, it's perfect!

ITA as well. Plus just make sure the church will baptize her with a color on. Mine wouldn't, said specifically it had to be all white.

Thanks guys! I showed DH, he loved it. I ordered it.
For those that asked, it's by etsy seller adorablemeboutique. I just ordered a bunch of stuff on etsy for her party, it's so addicting!
Now on to shoes & hair clippies!
