Don't EVER make fun of your parents' lawn ornaments or else...
you might wake up and find it in your garden!  
This thing was on the lawn of my parents' house that they just moved into, and my daughter has nicknamed it the "chicken elf". 
Anyway, I made fun of it and made fun of it over and and over again at my mom and dad's and when I woke up this morning, it mysteriously appeared in my garden
And, on a side note, my dad told me that this morning someone stopped and asked the guys working on his house what happened to the lawn jockey and that my father better not have broken it!

So, actually, my sister and I decided it will make a surprise appearance in the back seat of my dad's car I still can't believe he drove over early this morning and planted it in there

another fun thing to do is hang it from a noose on a tree at his house
we have an ugly cat that we pass around my family - we have put the cat on a float in someone's pool, packed in a moving mox when some ne bought a new home - a stall away in a boat - and the worst was dressed up like a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding

That is hilarious! The house we just bought had a creepy garden gnome in the backyard. My FIL decided to take it. He knows it creeps me out so every time we visit, he has it out to greet me. Thanks, FIL!

Omg, I LOVE the idea of in the closet! I'm thinking that needs to be our new plan! It does weigh about 60 lbs, so unfortunately that limits our options

We had a "traveling" knome in our family My nutty parents would make it appear in different places on our property and my brothers...too funny!
